About this drawing This drawing is my small response to Trump’s heinous executive orders against refugees and Muslims. Sharing this nest and protecting their young is an alliance of five birds. Two members of the family Corvidae - the Blue Jay, found in North America, and the Iranian Ground Jay, endemic to its namesake nation. ("Endemic" means native to and found only in.) Nestled against the Jays are two members of the family Fringillidae - the American Goldfinch and Syrian Serin. The Syrian Serin has been listed as Vulnerable by the IUCN Red List. Perched on the shoulder of the Iranian Ground Jay is a Ruby-throated hummingbird, whose range extends across the Mexico-United States border. No ban. No wall.

Details: Original signed graphite drawing. Fixed to prevent smudging and packaged with care. Paper measures 10" x 12.5"
